PLASMA CUTTING AND OXY-CUTTING

The plasma cutting centers work on sheets up to 80 mm thick with the help of a drilling head capable of threading up to a maximum of 40 mm in diameter.

The automatic drilling and cutting system of the “Gemini” series is also suitable for light and heavy sheets, and can perform thermal cutting operations, SCRIBING marking, drilling, threading, milling, inclined cutting (Bevel Head), all processes that can be performed with a single system with unprecedented precision: it is a complete solution for the processing of plates suitable for all needs.

SHEET METAL DEPARTMENT

 

MAP Divisione Lamiere is specialized in medium-heavy sheet metal processing, the company and the people who work there are able to satisfy all the most particular needs, ranging from the design to the creative field, thanks to cutting-edge machinery and the synergy developed with the group company: MAP spa

The sheet metal cutting department is made up of a set of systems where technology has allowed the optimization of production capacity and the correct management of tolerances, allowing customers to obtain a product of excellent quality

The machines and the staff within the workshop are entirely supported by a valid technical office equipped with CAD stations with three-dimensional and two-dimensional software for design and for the launch of nesting (automatic process for optimizing shaped cutting) entirely automatic for cutting systems.

The advanced production systems based on design and drawing in CAD and CAM allow us to quickly obtain the highest quality for every customer request.

We are able to manage the order from its preliminary stage, realizing, in agreement with the client, the design of prototypes and the production of samples.

​LASER CUTTING

In 2020, MAP acquired a new Laser Cutting system that guarantees consistent quality cutting across the entire surface of the material and a high finish of the cutting surface with competitive tolerances for each thickness and material. Laser cutting allows you to customize products from other processes with details that require absolute precision such as holes and cuts.

The technology and integration software between the laser machines and the sheet metal warehouse allow the availability of production data in real time with benefits in terms of flexibility, increased production efficiency, reduced processing times and waste.

The CYLASER cyber-physical system integrates with the other machines in the production cycle, thanks to the CYLASER Software. It is able to manage any pre-existing automation system. It integrates automatically with the company's logistics system. Thanks to the tele/self-diagnosis software, it allows remote control and assistance.

Our company has been operating in the metal construction sector since 1974 and has acquired significant experience in the design, construction and assembly of metal carpentry structures for civil and industrial use. Quality, clear ideas, organizational skills and cutting-edge technologies have allowed the Company to win the contracts for the construction of 10 pavilions at EXPO 2015.

MAP SpA is able to provide comprehensive answers to internal design problems, perfecting every customer idea down to the last detail or developing projects already prepared with the aid of sophisticated two/three-dimensional CAD tools. The company is able to manage the order from its preliminary stage by creating, in agreement with the client, an initial project with relative economic evaluation up to the construction of the work, through the entire production cycle.
