The design solution proposed by the Progetto CMR team, chosen by the Unipol Group for the redevelopment of the building on Via De Castillia, does not only take care of aesthetic aspects, but also aims to improve its functionality, energy performance and overall efficiency related to the management of the property. The result is an iconic building equipped with cutting-edge technological solutions, consisting of two buildings 53 and 15 meters high that form a 45° angle.
A prismatic and elegant façade, in harmony with the context, characterizes the building thanks to a play of diagonals that draw a glass chessboard, where full and empty spaces alternate in a dynamic movement of facets and transparencies.
Another significant intervention consists in the conversion of the 2 floors above ground from a public car park to office space, with the consequent demolition of the existing access ramp. In this way, large spaces on the ground floor were freed up, making them fully usable even from the outside.
